Our Program
Victory Learning Center (VLC) is a Christ centered daycare. We provide a nurturing atmosphere with emphasis in displaying
the love of God to your child. We believe in the threefold cord: home, church and school. VLC is a developmental program in which children will learn in a positive and loving environment. Promoting self-esteem is a priority. If children feel good about themselves, they can achieve anything. Creativity, language development, self-discipline, good health habits, sharing and other readiness skills are taught through the ABEKA curriculum. We promote growth and development in the following areas: spiritual, physical, social, intellectual and creative.
Spiritual
We believe children are a gift from God. God has designed a specific purpose for the life of every child. We desire that each child understand how much God loves them. We will help them share with others. Children will learn about love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, mercy and compassion. They will also learn Bible verses.
Physical
Each day the children will develop their fine and gross motor skills by working puzzles, connecting blocks, writing, cutting, coloring and pasting. Large motor skills will be developed through climbing, jumping, hopping, pulling up, skipping, throwing, dancing and stomping.
Social
The children will learn to work and play cooperatively in a group setting. This will be taught through classroom teaching, hands on work, play and lots of love. The children are also taught respect each other’s quiet time.
Intellectual
The children are exposed to learning about all of the elements of nature and are stimulated to use all five senses. We use the ABEKA Christian Curriculum to challenge the children in phonetics, numbers, social studies, art and music. We have established a computer learning center where the children can join the wave of the future. Each child will have the opportunity to meet and speak with people in various careers.
Creative
VLC understands that children express creativity in many ways. We are committed to allowing your child to develop his/her creativity through role playing, creative arts, dancing, singing, music and story telling. We strive to broaden your child’s horizons and have them ready for the many facets of the world of technology.
