Faith
We Believe

The Scriptures: The
Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of
God. We believe in the Godhead. There is one God
, manifested in three persons: the Father, the
Son and the Holy Spirit. (11 Tim 3:16,
Philippians 2:6)
Man, his fall and
redemption: Man, in his fallen state through
sin, and his need for salvation by grace through
faith as a gift of God. (Romans 3:23-26, Romans
3:10)
Eternal Life and New
Birth: The new birth is necessary for all
men to experience eternal life and that is by
receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as personal
savior by faith. ( Romans 10:9-10)
The Lordship of Jesus
Christ: Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent
by God the Father to bring salvation to the
world. Born of a virgin, provided salvation
through His death on the cross, bodily
resurrection and ultimate return. ( Luke 2,
Matthew 28, 1 Corinthians 15)
The Holy Spirit: The
Holy Spirit in fills believers with the evidence
of speaking in tongues. The Holy Spirit also
guides, directs and empowers each believer in
teaching, conduct, and producing Christ-like
character in them. (Acts 1:8, 2:4; John
14:16-17, John 16:7-15)
Water Baptism:
Baptism in water by immersion is a commandment
for believers. This is a symbol of the
identification with Christ in His death, burial
and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Divine Healing:
Healing has been provided by the work of Jesus
Christ through prayer and faith. (James 5:14-15,
Mark 16:18, Isaiah 53:4-5, Mathew 8:17, 1 Peter
2:24)
Heaven and Hell:
Heaven is a reward to the believer beyond death.
Likewise, there is a hell for the unbeliever
beyond death. (Matthew 25:31-34)
Return of Our Lord:
The return of Jesus Christ includes the rapture
of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts
1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
Family: The family
is the basic unit of society and must be
preserved in its integrity and stability.
Parents are responsible for the nurture,
instruction and discipline of their children.
(Psalms 68:6, Ephesians 5:21-6:4)
Christian Social
Responsibility: Christians are salt and
light in society; opposing all evil, promoting
truth, justice, goodness and peace; aiding the
needy; and preserving the dignity of all people.
(Matthew 5:13-16)
